THE FOUNDER
Spice Story
Soumyadeep Mukherjee spent two decades in distribution and marketing before he watched shoppers buy loose green chutney and noticed no brand sold it. With Gayatri Gogate and chef Vibhor Rastogi, he left his job and started Spice Story in Mumbai in 2019, a decision the brand says was made over vada pav and cutting chai. On Season 2 of Shark Tank India, they agreed a deal with Namita Thapar.
Home cooks who want the chutney from a chaat stall or a Bombay sandwich without grinding it. The bottles carry the places they come from: Dilliwalli mint, Bombay sandwich, Gujarati tamarind and date.

THE STOREFRONT
What a shopper finds.
01
The shelf, counted
Homepage tiles for Blockbuster Chutneys, Street Food Chutneys and Combo Offers show how many products sit behind each, so a shopper knows the size of the shelf before tapping.
02
Deals open the page
The top bar offers up to 15% off combo packs, and a Daily Deals row puts single masalas under ₹100 beside packs of three and four.
03
Uses on the label
The mint chutney page lists ingredients, net weight and a 365-day shelf life, then ways to use it, from chaat to a marinade for paneer skewers.
04
A pack for shopkeepers
A Retail Store Starter Pack and a 30-sachet Tester Pack sit in the same catalogue, so a shop can order a trial the way a home cook orders a bottle.
