THE FOUNDER
Shambhavi Creations
Shambhavi Creations started from a realisation that the Dhokra casting of Bastar's artisan villages was going unseen. Working from Raipur, it sources brass and wrought-iron pieces directly from artisan communities and says it gives craftsmen fair pay and year-round work.

THE STOREFRONT
What a shopper finds.
01
A menu by use
Decor, Showpieces & Idols, Utility, Lighting and Kitchen each open into specifics: wall hooks, towel holders, pen holders, door handles, tea lights, coasters.
02
Proof under the price
Product pages list the same three lines beneath the price: handmade Dhokra art, free shipping in 4 to 6 business days, and GI Tagged Bastar Dhokra Art.
03
The statue's own story
The Jhitku Mitki page tells the Gond love story the pair comes from, then gives the height, base width and weight of the pair: 1,400 g.
04
A name on the base
The Desk Harmony pen holder comes with a tortoise or a Nandi on a wooden base that takes a personalised name, and the page lists office desks and corporate gifting as its uses.
05
A journal on the craft
Journal posts explain what a GI tag means for Dhokra, how the lost-wax process works and how to clean brass at home. The top bar states cash on delivery.
They know their work and offer thoughtful solutions. From my experience, I can say that they are truly interested in their client's success and do everything possible to make it a reality.
