    HOW LONG

    Brief to files. Twelve days.

A typical plan. Catalogue size and scene count move it.

    01
    Day 1–3

    References

Three to five photos of each product, the label artwork, and brand references for light and mood.

    02
    Day 3–7

    Scenes and first pass

Scenes, lighting and angles chosen. A first pass on a handful of products arrives within 48 hours, and the look is settled on it.

    03
    Day 7–10

    Generation and checks

The catalogue generated in the approved look. Each image checked against its reference, then retouched and colour-corrected.

    04
    Day 10–12

    Delivery

Files exported for each channel, named by SKU, with the style guide.

    IF IT GOES WRONG

A sample first. Then the batch.

Nothing runs across the catalogue until a handful of products look right.

    01

    A sample before the catalogue

The look is settled on a few products. The full run starts after you sign it off.

    02

    Checked against the real product

A person compares every image with the reference photos. Images that drift in shape, colour or label are redone or dropped.

    03

    Scope in writing

Products, images per product, scenes and revision rounds are listed before work starts. A change is priced before it is made.

    04

    The files are yours

Final images are handed over with the right to use them commercially: store, marketplaces, ads and print.

    05

    A look that repeats

The style guide records lighting, angles and scenes, so a product added six months on matches the rest.

    06

    Fixed if it is wrong

An image in the delivered scope that misstates the product is corrected as part of the job.

    WHO IT'S FOR

    Most catalogues. Not faces.

If the second list sounds like you, a real shoot or a neighbouring service is the better spend.

    Generated photography fits

    • 01
A catalogue of fifty products or more

Every SKU under one light, without fifty set-ups.

    • 02
      A launch date close by

New products that need store and marketplace images in days.

    • 03
      Festival and seasonal refreshes

Diwali, summer or sale versions of a scene, made from the same references.

    • 04
      Packaged goods with clear shapes

Bottles, jars, boxes, pouches and devices. Hard edges and printed labels hold up well.

    Look elsewhere first

    • 01
A campaign built on a person

Model-led hero images, a founder portrait, hands using the product. Shoot these for real. The generated catalogue can sit beside them.

    • 02
Only the backdrop needs to change

Good photos on the wrong background belong in Background Remove & Replace.

    • 03
The photos exist but are small or dull

Image & Video Refinement upscales and colour-corrects what you already have.

    STANDARDS YOU CAN CHECK

Checked against the product. Every file.

Each one can be checked on the delivered files.

    01

    Marketplace main images

Pure white background at RGB 255, the product filling at least 85% of the frame, 1,000 px or more on the longest side so zoom works on Amazon.

    02

    Colour

sRGB throughout, so colour holds across browsers and phones. Product colour matched to the reference photo.

    03

    Label text and logo

Read letter by letter against your artwork. Generated text is replaced with the real label.

    04

    One light across the catalogue

The same angle set, shadow direction and crop ratio on every SKU, as recorded in the style guide.

    05

Nothing that is not in the box

Scenes do not add accessories, sizes or quantities the customer will not receive.

    06

    File naming

SKU, shot type and size in every file name, so files sort by product and upload in order.

    BEFORE YOU BRIEF

    Before the first reference photo.

No. Three to five photos of each product from different angles are enough, taken on a phone in daylight if that is what you have. Add the label artwork and a few brand references for light and mood.
The scene, the surface, the light and the shadows are generated in Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and ComfyUI. The product is held to your reference photos, and label text and logos are placed from your artwork, because image models misspell small text. A person chooses the scenes, checks every image and retouches it in Photoshop and Lightroom before you see it.
They have to. Every image is compared with the reference for shape, proportion, colour and label. An image that misstates the product is redone or dropped, and scenes never add accessories or quantities that are not in the box.
Yes. Your current images become the reference for light, mood and crop. The sample round shows the match on a few products before the catalogue is run.
Fabric weave, embroidery, fur and fine stonework are where generation is weakest. Those pieces get hand retouching. Where that is not enough, the scope says so and recommends shooting them.
When a person is the picture: a model wearing the product, a founder portrait, hands using it. People-centric hero work still looks better shot for real. A small hero set from a shoot and a generated catalogue around it sit well together.
The starting package is £11.99 per product: 5 images (2 white-background catalogue shots and 3 lifestyle scenes), a one-page style note and two revision rounds. More images, more scenes, hand retouching and festival versions are quoted in writing within 48 hours of the call.
You receive the final files with the right to use them commercially: store, marketplaces, ads and print. Prompts avoid real people's likenesses and other brands' marks. Copyright law on generated images is still unsettled in most countries, so exclusive copyright in a generated scene is not something anyone can promise. Your product, label and brand marks remain yours as they always were.
