THE FOUNDER
Blue Tea
Sunil Saha and Nitesh Singh started Blue Tea in 2018 to bring Ayurvedic flower teas back to Indian cups, beginning with butterfly pea, the flower called Aparajita. The company packs its teas in Madhyamgram, Kolkata. On Season 1 of Shark Tank India, they agreed a deal with Aman Gupta.
Tea drinkers cutting caffeine who want a cup with colour and flavour. Sampler packs let a first-time buyer try six flavours before committing to a 200-bag box.

THE STOREFRONT
What a shopper finds.
01
Price per tea bag
Butterfly pea comes as 100, 200 or 300-bag cards, and the 100 and 200-bag cards show a price per tea bag, so the saving on a larger box is plain arithmetic.
02
Try six first
Sampler Pack has its own place in the main menu, with six-flavour packs for butterfly pea, hibiscus and chamomile and an assorted pack at ₹399.
03
A brew guide
A Brew Guide page walks through hot brewing and cold brewing step by step, down to four to ten hours in the fridge.
04
The maker, named
Each product page gives the manufacturer's address, country of origin and a best-before date, with a customer-care number beside them.
05
Gifting in the menu
Corporate Gifting sits in the main navigation next to Combo and New Arrivals, and the top bar names the order value that earns a free gift, ₹1,299.
The website was redesigned aesthetically in a very short time and economically.
