THE FOUNDER
Farmers Pride
Sandeep Sharma left his engineering degree in 2002 and spent years learning organic farming and living in villages across India. With Shraddha Yamkar, a social worker who had spent three years with Navdanya, he opened Farmers Pride Organic Stores in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, in 2016, so organic farmers could get a fair price and be known by name.
